Switch off a few breakers at once and flip. The house tells you which rooms and appliances went dark. Nothing else.

Read the patterns

Every flip leaves a trail of lit and dark on each room, and of on and off on each breaker. Match the trails and you've found the wire.

Call it

Set a breaker on every room and call it. A right call counts as a turn. A wrong one tells you how many you got right, except on Hard days. Par is the most turns a sharp reader ever needs: 4 early in the week, 5 later.
